Perhaps a move is in order

Well, not literally but I am beginning to wonder. It seems like I am spending more and more time at my doctor's office so perhaps I need to just bed down there and make sure every morning I am ok to come to work. I bet my insurance carrier is calling me every name in the book!

Several months ago I went into my bedroom and being the clumsy one that I am I ran my right foot into the bottom of a wooden rocking chair. It hurt yes, and it was bruised....badly bruised for a couple of weeks. But once the swelling went down it seemed to heal up ok so I didn't give it much thought. Yesterday it was hurting again. I figured it was because of the dampness in the air and the coolish temperatures that we have now. I showed it to Joe when I got home and the top of my right foot is swollen and bruised looking. This morning I could barely get my work boot on to come to work.

I just got off of the telephone with my doctor's nurse. Seems he wants to see me today to make sure that an x-ray is needed. How silly of me to think that this could be easy. I thought I could just pop into the local clinic and get an x-ray, they would tell my doctor what was going on and that would be that. Nope. Gotta see the doctor this afternoon. I was just there last Thursday and 2 weeks prior to that. At least he did make an opening for me instead of trying to put me off on that horrible PA he has.

Thank goodness for insurance!

I'd say your run of bad luck is just about over.
It will probably end on Nov. 19th at 3:13PM.
So be careful till then. K?

Oh boy, I'll bet he's going to put you in one of those uber sexy boots too huh? Be careful woman, you've only got 1 body and they don't take returns or exchanges for defective ones cause if they did I would be first in line....

Wait. What? said...

You certainly have had your fair share of bad stuff this year - good luck at the doc - I hope all goes well!

Just about Pam. The 20th of November is my 51st birthday and I get to spend it having a colonoscopy. Let's just hope that is uneventful. At least I woke up this morning though!

TB, I hope you will not be taking your camera to the colonscopy...

I hear ya. I have a pretty steady run of doctor's appointments in the next month. Including, but not limited to an outpatient surgery and a colonoscopy! UGH@

No Lou, no camera but I will take my purse. After all, there might be something I might like to take home with me.

On second thought I could have Joe document the event w/my camera.

Sorry you have to go to the doctor! It sounds sort of painful though! And a colonoscopy--I won't touch that! Good luck with all of it!

I broke my toe once and it hurt like hell. There's not much that can be done for that. Hope that your foot is better.
