My Annie

I know everyone is busy today voting and waiting to see who the next president is but if you have a minute and are so inclined please say a short prayer for my girl Annie.

DSCN1690

She is having a bump removed today from behind her left front leg. For some reason I am very nervous about this. They will send it off to see if it is cancer. For those who don't know already, cancer is very prevalent in the Boxer breed. She has been taking meds for a skin condition and some more for an infection on her belly. The skin condition has caused her face to lose some of the black and take on a red tone in places. I am a bit fearful of what they might find out. I've already been through this with 2 boxers in my life, I don't want it for my Annie. I know that her time will come but dadgum it, that is hard to even type much less think about.

I will pick her up on my way home today and will have time tonight to love on her. She always gets in my lap when I get home. What? Doesn't everyone have a 60lb. lap dog?

I'll let yall know how my girl is. Meanwhile, we appreciate it!

It will be what it will be. The most important thing is she has the most perfect home she could ever hope for.
