Oh Boy, New Pretties

Whatcha got Dad?

IMG_5822

Darn it, Annie got it first again!

IMG_5828

Did you see that Mom? Did you see what Dad did?

IMG_5825

Yes Sophie, I saw. But you see, you tear up the pretties almost immediately when you get them first.

IMG_5820

He he. *NOTE* Various pretties are under the furniture, along with some dust.

Did someone say more pretties?

IMG_5827

Hey Sis! How about sharing a bit?

IMG_5832

Where's the love???

IMG_5831

See how it looks like Sophie is standing over her sister as a sign of protection? That is a characteristic of the Boxer breed. At least that is what Miss Sophie would like you to believe. But you see, even though it is a fact, and they do this a lot, that is NOT why Sophie is doing it.

IMG_5833

She is even licking her lips in anticipation.

IMG_5834

She is working herself over to where she can steal the pretty. I'm onto her, that's for sure.

IMG_5830

And Annie is too.

IMG_5829

But alas, Annie is not as strong and young as Sophie.

IMG_5826

Not really on the stronger but definitely on the younger.

IMG_5824

Don't even think about it Annie!

Don't worry Sophie. You don't know it but Annie lets you have the pretty because she is smarter and wiser than you. Plus she will fetch the items under the furniture with the help of Mom or Dad. Silly girl.

Why oh why do they always want the pretty that the other has? Roxy does the same thing and she'll thief it from the other dogs. No fair and square about it at all. She's the rightious bitch and makes it well known. Jayne, he's the standing one, he'll stand over who he wants the toy from but he won't take it away, he'll just be so obnoxious they'll eventually walk away from it. He's so big that if they don't he eventually drops his body down and smothers them. Dang boxers.

I just love those silly dogs. Makes me wish I had a companion for mine. They get along so well too.

Wait. What? said...

How beautiful they are - I used to have two bullies a few years back - both passed on now (RIP) but they would share the toys we brought home, even when there was not much of a toy left to share! Happy weekend to you! Cat

Your boxers are just so beautiful and funny.
I bet the smiles they bring you are never ending :)

I just trotted over here to tell you thanks for the wonderfully supportive and kind comments you left for me on my blog, concerning my son's injury.
It is much appreciated :)

Take Care,
Lisa
