Just thought I would throw in a picture of one of my whiskey barrels on my porch. All of the greenery grew back this year. All I did was plant about 6 flowers. How cool is that?

This Hose was made for Drinkin'
and that's just what Sophie did. She loves fresh water straight out of the garden hose. And I love to take her picture when she does!

I use to dogsit a dog that just loved to play in the hose. She would attack the spray and drink it and jump and chase it forever. I would do it to wear her out, she had a lot of energy. And it killed two birds with one stone because it watered the lawn, too! ;)
Keep a sharp eye on that vinca. It's like kudzu.
Years ago, a friend made me a flowerpot holder shaped like a stick figure holding a pot. I put him in a bed beside my deck, and put vinca in with the geraniums. The vinca got a toehold in the ground, and I can't get rid of it. It comes up through the cracks in my deck.
