The Storm after the Storm

This storm was pretty bad. We were fortunate to not have any damage at all. We did have a lot of strong winds though. Plus Lake Kansas in our front yard.

I took these all of these pictures withing 5 seconds of each other. You can tell the one where I captured how it lit up from the lightening. Pretty awesome huh?

I wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog. Sorry it took so long to come over and check you out.

That sure looks like some nasty weather-ugh.

Love the post on the puppy that came back for a visit. You are right-animals don't seem to forget where they come from.

Looking forward to more great reading!!

Eeek! I am a born and raised So Cal girl and 'weather' is something I still have yet to get used to. Thunderstorms keep me up at night and this year's rash of tornadoes is freaking me out something awful. At least the lake is the worst you got. Mother nature is having one of those PMS kinda years and I don't think she's anywhere near done yet. Stay dry!
