The beauty of nature

Yesterday I took the ole golf cart for another ride armed with my camera. I was able to capture some really neat pictures of sparrows and how the momma and daddy work together to feed their young. We have 2 birdhouses in our front yard, mainly set up for the beautiful bluebirds but a family of sparrows nabbed this one.

Making their plan here.

The male gets the food for the babies and the female stands guard. The male also feeds the babies. Unlike a lot of human males I know!

I don't know if she is calling her mate or what. I don't remember hearing anything.

Then it starts all over again. After all, the babes need lots of food items to grow up!

When I first rounded the corner behind the birdhouse in the golf cart I scared them off so I parked just this side of the garden and waited. It didn't take long for them to come back to their home. It was worth waiting for.

There was a woman (I assume it was a woman by the way she acted) that happened upon my blog one day when I had posted about, well, what we all need to do at least once a day in the bathroom. Ok, #2! I talked about how weird it is that we all look at it, just that and I mean to tell you that little bitty got her panties in a WAD! I told her finally that I was glad I lived in a free country with FREE SPEACH! She said she came to my blog to find out more about horses. Needless to say there have been numerous pics of horses since then and will be tons more in the future. I still say she is a lurker. lol

No, I don't get my baby this weekend or at least it has not been planned. Who knows though. I might just need that baby to hear her say Graaaaaaaandmother!

Maybe Momma bird was talking to Baby birds and telling them "Just wait til your Father gets home."
