Snow Day!

There is one advantage to living where it doesn't really snow a lot.

It's really not much snow but......

Under the snow lies about 1/2" of ice which makes for very bad driving hence a Snow Day for me and Stephanie! Since I live 6 miles off of the main road there is no way I would even try to get to work today. Besides, since we had warning of what was to come I did my Tuesday work on Monday so there was no need to go in anyway.

A while ago Sophie was outside running with the horses. I wish I had been dressed so I could have gotten some pictures but alas I was still in my gown. In fact I am still in my gown. I might just stay in my gown all day long. It's not like I'm going anywhere.

I love your pictures. They are so peaceful. I wish we got snow that like in Houston! Stay warm and have a blessed day.

YES! That is too cool. And stay in your gown, it makes for a totally indulgent snow day!

I really like the large open area with no buildings!!! I think I could be a country girl trapped in the city...

We actually have more snow in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico than you do. We've got about 3 inches on the ground and more to come over the next couple of days. However, once the sun comes out, it will go away real fast.

Enjoy your slow day.

Good for you. Looks like a good day to stay inside and sit by the fire.

I missed this post the other day. I need to pay more attention.
