Playin' in the Snow

Stephanie decided to take Sophie outside for some playtime. Since our Annie has been sick she hasn't felt like playing and since Sophie knows something is wrong but doesn't' understand, a good play was in order. Steph bundled up and headed outdoors.

She loves her tug-a-war!

Annie went outside for just a few minutes. Sophie was glad to see her!

She didn't stay out very long though. Here is Sophie demanding my attention to let her sister in the house. After all it was cold outside!

She and Sophie got in some more playing. That dog can JUMP!

About that time Steph noticed some blood in the snow so she had Sophie sit down and looked at her paw.

It was time to come in a warm up anyway. Her little, well actually big, paws were very very cold. There will be time to go out later, in fact as I write this they are outside feeding the horses and playing.

Life is good.

So, what was the deal with the blood? Is that you in the gray robe?

No, that is Joe. Apparently the snow got to Sophie's paws and irritated them. She is fine now.

I love seeing all that snow. I know your babies loved it too. You take some excellent pictures.

Looks like fun was had by all. Funny how they know when thier frinds are not OK, My little guy got hurt yesterday and Winston was like an all star nurse with him trying to help.

It's good to see the dogs enjoying the snow. She may need some bag balm on that pad.
