Treats and Pretties

Joe took a trip to the Dollar Tree this week and got goodies for our babies. Sophie is all about the treats and Annie is all about the pretties. Pretty is what we call a toy that sqeaks. It is what my Mom called them and now we call them that. It works for us.

Let's see, which shall I play with first? The treat smells yummy but the sqeaker in the pretty is calling my name!

Sophie is sure enjoying her treat. Maybe I'll just ponder it for a while.

Sophie, you have a bit of dirt in your ear. Let me get that for you.

AAAWWWWWW!

You sure you don't want to trade?

Leave me alone Sophie. Just because you have already torn yours up doesn't mean you can have mine!

Gotta love the pretties!

Chester tore up everything. He could only have Nylabones and I had to take them away when he chewed them down to a small size. Bunny, on the other hand, has every toy he has ever had. He isn't destructive at all. Gotta love that item.

I haven't been able to get a good picture of Annie playing with her pretties yet. She throws them up and runs all around, you know, like dogs do!

They usually get torn up when Sophie and Annie tug with them. Plus Annie wants to get that sqeaker! When they get torn up we keep the sqeaker and when we squeeze it Annie licks her lips. Too cute!

I wish our dog was playful like your two. Reagan doesn't know how to fetch or anything. I'll have to do a post about Reagan. She was bit by a rattle snake and now she hops on three legs and is pretty mean.

I enjoy watching the interactions of the dogs. They are really great critters.

Nothing like a batch of new toys! My big boy loves the pretties. Especially the Cuz. Do you have one of those? Their scream is awful, we have to regulate it to outside it's so bad. And he loves it when his toys scream, ugh!

Don't have a Cuz Michelle. Do they sell them at Petsmart?

Now those girls are cuties. Mamie loves her toys, especially the purple rabbit she inherited from Dolly. Its a squeeky.

I just wish we could find some that are more durable and not tear up so easily but still have the sqeaker. Anyone have any ideas?

I like staying away from your blog for a few days, because when I do, I am always entertained when I return! You take really good pics of your animals, and the winter wheat is gorgeous...of course, being former midwestern girl, I am partial to wheat...and corn...and nice open spaces!!!

I am glad that your treatment was not as bad as you expected it to be. Hang in there! Do you get to go see those new grandbabies soon?

The Cuz is very very durable and terribly noisy, screams like the dickens, drives ya nuts,

Thank you for the kind words on my blog. I'm proud of taking the first step. But I'm not proud of the events that occurred for me to reach that point. I keep counting the days and forgetting one day at a time! Your brothers blog was the first one I found and I can't explain how good I felt to not feel alone! Thanks again!
