Back to Work Tomorrow

I have truly enjoyed my vacation. I was able to ride my horse a couple of times, once with my daughter which I love to do. I really needed a break from the daily grind. Not that my job is hard, it is in fact just the opposite. I enjoy it. Even so, with that said, everyone needs a break now and again. It had been over 3 years since I had been on vacation so I was definitely ready.

I was looking over some pictures I took recently and couldn't help myself when I came to these.

Abby's mommy will be traveling to Ohio next Saturday to take care Mia and Aubriella since their mommy is going back to work. We get to keep the little darlin some while she is away. I can't wait!

We were supposed to go to Ohio ourselves this week to see our new sweethearts but since I am taking these radiation treatments we were not able to go. We will see them soon, I hope. Perhaps they will be able to come here, at least I hope so. I felt so badly for being the cause of not going but it couldn't be helped.

So, this week has been a nice one. I love being able to sleep until I wake up. Except for riding for 2 days I have pretty much stayed inside since it is unbearably hot. We did have some drama in the middle of the week but hopefully that is over and Ryan can get his life in order. We shall see.

It would be great if they could bring the babies to see you since you can't get away right now! Glad you got to spend some time with Abby!

My gosh.... such a cutie pie!! Is this your place I see with all that lovely greenery? It is beautiful!

I feel for you and my prayers are with you. My daughter is hopefully over her drug problem (meth)forever. She has been clean for a year and half. I pray every day that she never falls prey to drugs again.

take care!

Hey! Thanks for stopping to visit! I can't help but noticing the similarity between your love of horses, boxers and grandkids with another blogger friend of mine...Lisa in Oklahoma at

I love your weathervane and the photos of your sweet little darling! Just getting ready for a little nap, so I'll be back to read more later today :)

Ah, gorgeous little Abby. I'm glad she's gonaa be with you awhile. She is so cute. And honey, you are not the cause of not making the trip, it is the situation that you have no control over. Don't be hard on yourself. You are too good for that.
