My Brother

A lot of you that read this will know my brother. We call each other So for reasons that neither of us can remember. He is a very special person to me and to a lot of other people. I have learned so many things from him during my life. I will attempt to list some of them:

  • fashion
  • to be grateful
  • how to treat other people
  • to not hang out of my car at 19 and threaten someone that cut me off in traffic
  • to be a lady
  • to be unselfish
  • to be humble
  • patience

One of the most recent things I have learned from him is how to live life with gratitude. How to trust in God because He controls all things. I have learned to pray for His will, not my own. To be thankful for what myself and my family have been blessed with. To live a life of gratitude is very rewarding. It just makes everything easier. Maybe you will give it a try, trust me, it's worth it.

Your brother is wonderful, and he's as cute and sweet as a speckled pup.
Don't tell him I said that, though. We don't want his head getting all big and him looking like a bobble-head doll.

So, it is a privilege to be your brother. And a pleasure to share with you what I have been so freely been given to me by others and a God of my understanding.

I love you and am grateful you are in my life with such presence.

I need fashion tips, and I need to learn how to be a lady. Oh yeah, and I could always use a dose of learnin' patience and humbleness and unselfishiness.

Can I borrow your brother?

He taught me how to read.
He's still trying to teach me how to play with Bunny.
Then he's gonna teach me how to play baseball.

I'm catching up on your posts, as you might have guessed. So cool to have a brother that is a best friend. My youngest is that way for me. He's heading to Iraq for a year and I e-mail him ad nauseum.
