Yikes!

Stephanie went up to feed the horses last week and noticed something. She immediately came to tell me that my horse had a swollen ankle.

It wasn't bad, thank goodness, but definitely needed attention. Luckily I keep several medicines for the horses on hand, one being exactly what I needed.

The next day it looked a lot better. I continued to give it to her though since it was still a bit swollen.

I also gave her some field corn. It's great for keeping their teeth clean. I don't know how in the world they can eat it. That stuff is hard!

On another note I think I want more flowers. I just might have to make another trip to Wurth Farms.

I'll take all of those please.

I love me some flowers yall.

Oh, and these too please.

One of each and I'll be just about done.

One ALWAYS needs more flowers, they make life even more beautiful! Sorry to hear your horse's ankle was swollen, good to hear it's getting better!

You were fortunate to have that medication on hand. Or on foot (as the case may be). I rarely keep it around my home.

At first, I thought the pictures were YOUR flowers. I wondered why you needed more. Leave some for the rest of us.
But then, I reade further ...

I'm a little plant/flower crazy too. I love my plants and I seem to add one here and there every week or so. I think it's an addiction.

Glad your mare is better! Any idea what caused the swelling?
Love the flowers!!

Pony Girl I think she either slipped in the mud or she was busy kicking at the studmuffin who keeps hanging around her rear end. All he could do is shoot blanks anyway.

I used to put linament on my horse. I would rub him down with that on the ankles and legs. It helped. Hope that your horse's leg has improved.

I'm so glad that your horse is better.

I have given up on planting flowers..all I end up doing is killing them, it takes an emotional toll. I can't handle the grief.

I love putting different flowers together...I went to Better Homes and Gardens and put all my arrangements together, wrote them down and went to Wurths.....it was easy.
