We had a grand day today. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Sunny with a bit of a north wind and temperatures in the 60's. Abby and I got up at 8:30 and quickly woke Papa Joe up. We just kind of hung around the house and out on the porch. Abby had great fun with her bubbles.
Those pictures were actually taken Saturday but she did blow bubbles today. She jumped on Joe's lawn mower and asked me to take her picture. So I did.
It wasn't long before her mama came out. We relaxed a bit outside then decided to go down and see the geese family. We got some field corn to take down and leave for them.
Abby tried to carry it all but ended up needing a little help.
There they are!
Abby worked really hard to get all of the kernels off of the cob.
These two sure did want some of that corn. In fact we did give them an ear a piece.
Before long it was time for them to go pick up Abby's daddy at work.
She wanted a flower out of my Mother's Day arrangement and I was happy to oblidge.
And with that, they were gone.

Another great weekend with Abby and all the critters. Sounds awesome.
Aren't you sad when she leaves? Sounds like you had another fun weekend with your girl!
Looks like you had a great time with Abby! Fun for all!
Looks like a great weekend....you are such a great grandma!
Dusty, I am never sad when she leaves cause I know she will be back soon. Dang I love that girl.
Thanks Jen. Someday you will be as good a grandmother as me.
You are creating some find memories for that child.
Perfect blessed week end!
My future grandbaby maker has found a rental house in Lexington. The house in Louisville is up for sale!
That is great new Lou. They will love Lexington. Well, if they like big traffic infested cities that is.
ha,ha TB..you are funny. They love the city, Louisville was too small for them.
What's a find memory? I'll have to ask Scott.
I read recently that raw corn gives horses terrible gas.
Why Bill, are you reading up on horses? Wanna come visit and ride? That would be so much fun. I wondered too what a find memory was. Maybe he lost his memory.
that's a great shot of the horses close up, really perty!
