Prom Time

My baby is going to her first ever prom tonight. And she is going with her baby. My baby going with her baby. Awwwwwwwww, isn't that sweet?

Steph and I went to town today because her silly momma thought we had already found earrings but we hadn't. We found some purty ones at Kohl's. Purty hangy down fancy ones. I'll post pictures later.

She has her updo hair appointment at 2:30. Then we will come back home and she will get dressed and ready then to Greg's house to pick him and his momma up to go down the road for pictures. After the pictures are taken I am taking them into town to meet 3 other couples at Friday's for dinner. From there they will ride with another couple to the school for the big shindig. Greg's sister will pick them up at or about 11:30 and bring them home.

I am oddly excited about the entire thing! I am not a girly girl, that's for sure....never have been. But I can't help being excited about my baby getting all gussied up for the big event. I have already put my camera in my purse and extra batteries in my pocket.

I think it's gonna be a great evening. And that my friends makes me smile.

Steph is all grown up. Can't wait for pictures of the couple.

I am remembering back then, and what you would have had in your purse. Certainly not a camera and extra batteries! I am sure it would have been something a little more illicit!

Love your blog and glad that I stopped in today.

I am still so new to the land of blog, but so loving reading others stories.
Everyone has a story and so many of them are so touching....
Hope you will stop by soon. The May give-away has started and this month there will be 10 winners. I will be blogging from Disney World soon...

A rite of passage for sure. I'm so happy for your whole family. I remember my daughters so clearly, and it was over 12 years ago.
