Oops!

I drive 20 miles to work every morning and 20 miles home every evening. I normally enjoy the drive as much as one can at 6am and 3:30pm mostly because the roads I take for the most part are in the country. I love seeing all of the green sprouting out all over the place. Spring is definitely here. With spring comes rain. Lots of rain. We have had close to 9" at my house in the past 2 weeks. In the country there are small roads that are usually pretty old. You have to be on your toes driving because this can happen.

I cross this little bridge every morning and afternoon. It is not far from my house at all. Looks like it might be a while before I do it again.

Look how deep that is! What you are seeing just past the washed out bridge is red gravel. It looks kinda like dirt.

Some people just don't have enough to do. Look at this guy trying to tell the road department how to do their work.

Oh, whoops, that is my husband. Sorry honey.

Someone has already removed the tape on the far end of the road next to the road closed sign. Some people are so stupid. It's a good thing they put the piles of gravel on both sides else someone might drive right into the ditch. I don't think that would be a good thing at all.

I reckon Joe loves to stare at holes.

What a mess! I suppose you will now have a longer commute?

It only adds about 2 minutes to the commute. I just have to remember to turn left out of the driveway instead of right like I did this morning.

When we lived in Florida we would have sink holes everywhere....it was crazy.

What a hole! We live in a very wet area, so we get alot of sink holes and landslides.
Joe cracks me up! My other half would probably do the same thing!

9 inches of rain will do that. I think the driver on the other side is trying to figure out a way to get around the gravel pile. He'll make it into the hole yet.
