My day started by

sleeping just a tad too late. But I did make it to work on time, in fact early. Why can't I be one of those employees that will allow themselves to be late at least once in 3 years of employment???? My cellaphone rang at 7:30 and it was my son. He was waiting for his boss to get back home and decided to tell me good morning. He put a smile on my face that I still have. He sounded SO GOOD! He had a good day at work yesterday. He and his boss Jason, gave 3 estimates. His boss took him to lunch. They had good conversation all day. This makes me happy.

This is my 'easy' day at work. The SAP computer system I use for inventory control is unavailable most of the day. It makes for a boring day but at least I can get caught up on whatever needs to be done. Some days there isn't anything so I play on the internet. Hee hee. It's fun.

Dakota has lost a shoe so I called Joe my farrier yesterday to let him know. He will come out and nail another one on. It is so muddy I am sure the shoe is under 6" of mud. We'll probably never find it. I am hoping he comes before the weekend because I really want to go for a ride with my baby. She and I haven't ridden together since last fall.

Maybe I'll tell her that is what I want for Mother's Day. I can't think of anything I would rather have.

How sweet that your son called you to say good morning. To me that is a miracle!

You guys look like you are having a very pleasant ride.
Thanks again for your advice. I got a call last night and one of the other girls in the club has offered me to ride her five year old who is totally broke. Terry did tell me she feels bad and hopes I am not turned off from horses, and would really like me to have some fun with it. I may go and meet him this weekend. If I become a member of the club, we can use the practice ring and arena any time we want, I would love that! I am not giving up over one(several) bad experiences with one horse!

Patty, I am glad to hear that. Horses are so much fun. I have been blessed to have been a rider since I was 6 yrs old. You will soon find the serenity and peace riding as I do.

It is the little things in life isn't it? I am so very glad to hear your son is doing well. I wish he was able to do a program but short of that he seems to be in the right place. Much love!

It looks like fun. I'm happy that Ryan is doing well. Good news. And glad that Stephanie enjoyed the prom. I remember being nervous about the prom way back when.

My horse lost a shoe in the mud a few months ago, I don't think I'll ever find it, either!
Good news that your son's job is going well. I hope you get to go on a mother's day ride. I wish my mom lived closer and my sis and I could ride with her that day!
