I'm not sure why

but everytime we open a new pasture for the horses they immediately run all around the field.

I had not ever given this much thought but Joe has. He has decided that they run through the pasture to make sure all of the varmits that might be hiding within the high grass knows that they are there and to get out of the way. Hey, it makes sense to me.

They look so happy and peaceful. I would love to be running through that field with them. It looks beautiful!

They run when they're happy. A whole pasture of new grass is total happiness to a horse.

They are enjoying life. That's awesome.

Looks like they're having fun! Annie is so cute, maybe she looks concerned! Your property is beautiful.

I wonder if they mark their territory? Wait, I think they do that later when they poop!

My horses do the same thing, they run, buck, get all excited when we turn them out in the grass paddock! I think they just get so excited to be out in the tall grass!
