I spoke with Scott a while ago. He and Bunny are with friends in Houston. The plan was to possibly leave and go west after Ike comes through depending on what happens afterwards. Of course you can't get me away from in front of the TV but I know in my heart he will be ok.
When I know more I will let you guys know.
Prayers for all in Ike's way.
P.S. I just spoke with Scott again. They lost power about an hour ago. They did have a nice dinner but J had to cook the asparagus on a propane item. Now, they are starting to get a bit warm, are full from a good dinner and needless to say, stressed a bit. Even Bunny is stressed and, as Scott said, being a bit vocal at times. But they are safe and that is the main thing.

Thanks for the update. Our power has gone off 2 times now but thankfully is back on for right this second. I know it is sure to go soon. I just heard there are 200,000 Houstonians without power. It's gonna be a long night.

It's amazing how powerless we seem to be in such times as this. I pray for the safety of all in the path of that awful storm.
Thanks for the update. I'm glad that Scott is safe. I've been glued to the Houston news on Ike that is being broadcast on Direct TV.
