Whew! Time to Give Thanks

I just hung up from talking to Scott. J, R and he made it to Waco. They are safely tucked into comfy beds and wonderful A/C. They plan on staying there until the electricity is back on back home. Until then they will enjoy the company of R's stepdad.

Thanks so much for the update. It is so creepy to visit Scott's blog and see no update since Friday. I am so glad to hear that he is safe and sound.

Thanks for the UpDt, 'Boss of Trail'.

About your windy moments...we (SW FL) have been receiving gusts (still) from Ike and he is more than 900 miles away now...but you will be getting more.

Happy Sunday to you and yours.

Good job on the updates, TB. I think you missed your calling as a photo journalist.

I'm no meteorologist, but I'm sure Ike is already having an effect on the whole Eastern seaboard.

Glad all's well.

I am glad they are all safe. It was a crazy storm. Some how we were inbetween the storm and the outerband so we got a lot of wind but not much rain. It was strange. It was nice because we avoided a lot of tornados. I hope he gets power soon. All the flooding was crazy. I feel so bad for those people in Galviston Texas. I lost everything three years ago in Rita, so I feel for them.
