The Ride Home

The way home yesterday was filled with songs, abc's and cows. Yes cows. We were almost home when Mr Cannon's cows were lounging right beside the road so we stopped and said hello amongst other things.

As we pulled into the driveway something amazing happened.

Hey Grandmother, I'll take it from here.

You didn't think I could drive huh Grandmother?

I was driving when I was 8 so that's only 5 more years until she can! I loved being a farm kid.

LOL-I used to let Megan do the same thing. She gets grumpy when I tell her that she drove better when she was 3 than she does now-LOL.

Love the longhorn!!

The granddaughter is definitely cuter than the cows and probably a better driver I suspect.

Great pictures.

Life would be so boring with that little sunshine, wouldn't it? LOL

Glad you are making so many great memories.

Living in SW FL 43 years, I had forgotten the "cows by the side of the road".

I remember as a child, being called out at 2 AM when the cows and/or horses had broken through the fence and wer out and about in other people's farms. It only would happen during 5 degrees f. or below--and really REALLY, that's why I moced to FL (20 years later).

Lots of stories in between! GREAT photos, and commentary! Thanks.

At the age of 4, I hit a curb and had a tire blowout on our new '57 Chrysler.

Another great thing about the country is that you're never too young to drive.
