Mommy is HOME!!!

Today we drove into the city to the big airport in our town, or at least, one of the towns close to us. Anyway, Abby was most excited since today was the day she had been waiting for. Today is the day that her beloved mother comes home!



Our precious hopped into the car armed with her faithful 'Patches' and we took off for the big ole airport. Along the way Abby talked and talked about her mommy coming home and how happy she was about it.



We got to the airport early because we had a feeling her plane just might get there sooner than her itinerary stated.



Grandmother? Is mommy coming soon?



Yes my precious. Her plane will land soon.

Papa Joe and I will look out of the big window and watch for the big red airplane carrying my mommy home!



I don't see her Papa Joe.



Let's go outside and see if we can see the plane way up in the sky.



Isn't it great how kids can entertain themselves? At least Abby can.





I'm gonna scratch my back like you did last week Grandmother. You know, on the tree!













Wait.......what is that sound? Is it a plane? It is, it is, it is mommy's plane!

Well, I don't know about you guys but by now my eyes were filled with happy tears. There is just something about a mommy and her daughter. **sigh**





I think this one just about says it all.

Abby got a set of pom-poms. She loved them!







Yep, the tears were flowing in west Kentucky today. But they were happy tears. And happy tears are the best tears ever! Welcome home Bethany. Welcome home.
