It's all about what the other one has

My girls. They are so silly. Sophie has always been a protector of what is hers. Whether it is a pretty, a bone or whatever she has to protect it. Not necessarily play/chew on it, just simply protect it from the other dog in the house. Annie pretty much figured her game out right away and didn't pay much attention to it. But Patty is a different story. Patty is a puppy and is naturally curious and playful. She thinks it's a game Soph is playing. Like, see if you can get it Patty and I'll keep it away from you. You know, keep away. But Sophie is all business. But, trying telling that to a 3 month old 33lb boxer. HA! Surely you jest. Evidence forthcoming.





Hey sis, I just want to borrow it for a few minutes!



Then suddenly it is play time



They both forget about the bone



Perhaps she will beg for the glove I have in my mouth says Sophie



Or perhaps a game of tug-a-war is in order











Then it's just plain ol playing

Actually, I see they do have the glove now. It's hard to keep up with them sometimes they move so fast!



























They just go on and on and on and on and on. Every night it's like this. And you know what? I absolutely love it. They are so entertaining and put a smile of my face and joy in my heart. I will never know how folks go without having pets. Me, I plan on having a dog or 2 or 3 for the rest of my life. It's the best medicine I know (well, other than my precious grandkids!)
