Things always change

Do yall remember this post? I am referring to the pictures taken when I took the golf cart to my neighbor's house. He is an elderly man, not in good health. He has collected an array of things apparently his entire life. I was saddened to hear that he is auctioning off all of his collectibles. What makes me sad about it is that he won't be able to enjoy them anymore. His Texaxo sign out in front of his house. His garage packed full of old tractors and Tonka toys.

The auction will be July 25th and there will no doubt be a lot of folks in Kansas that have never been to this neck of the woods before. If you're interested go here to see what he has.

We'll be watching from the golf cart and probably wiping away a tear or two.

Well, since he has to sell them I hope he gets goo-gahs of moolah.

I love a good auction, but it always makes me sad to see someone's life dismantled and picked apart by the highest bidders.

This is sad. No amount of money can replace the memories that go with those items I'm sure.

Interesting. It's sad to watch, but at least the items find a new home.
