hUmP dAy

After a delicious supper of Hawaiian Chicken, rice, pasta salad and brussel sprouts last night, I donned my tennis shoes and ventured out on my first bicycle ride in probably 30 yrs. It's true what they say, it does come back to you. I first rode it on the front porch which quickly proved to be too small so I went on up to the driveway. Oh my! It was glorious!

I rode down the driveway and onto the little country road where we live. Things were just fine and then I realized just how long it had been since I had ridden a bike. My legs were sorely out of shape. But I dug in and rode anyway. Didn't ride too long because I didn't want to overdo the first day. But I enjoyed it a lot. I will be riding every evening weather permitting. I was very pleased with myself too when I rode up the driveway with no trouble. Joe didn't think I would be able to make it. I can't wait to do it again this evening.

I feel like I haven't stopped bike riding since the day my Daddy taught me. It is one of my favorite things in the world to do. Have fun!

Isn't it fun! We've been doing a lot of bike riding too. We have a great park and cemetery to ride in. We will go and not want to come back! Sometimes we go get an ice cream cone! Have fun.

Was it as much fun as you had on your Purple girl style Sting Ray with the white wicker basket and purple plastic flowers?

Good for you for getting out and about!

That is so neat that you went bike riding! My neighborhood is good for bike riding, except for a couple hills. But I see people do it all the time. I don't have a bike. I spend most of my time on the back of my horse, maybe I should get a bike someday!

Good for you, TB. I gave up my bike when we got our horses -- let them do the work.

Sounds like fun, I have been wanting to get back into bike riding for a while. Years ago I did it all the time, great for staying in shape.
