Sophie

I talk a lot about Annie but we have another sweetie in the family. Her name is Sophie.

Isn't she a doll? She doesn't sit as well in the recliner with me as Annie. She kind of sits her butt down and puts her paws on the leg rest thingy. But it works and is better than what she used to do which was lean lean lean. She is our lean-er. I grabbed the camera the other day and took some pictures of her doing just that, sitting.

I love this one.

Apparently the camera focused on my hand instead of her sweet face.

She has the most beautiful eyes.

I am trying to hide from the camera here while Steph took the picture cause I hate having my picture taken. Especially since I had on my ratty, holey, favorite t-shirt. But you can see how she is sitting. Silly girl.

She is quite the clown. Every time she hasn't seen someone, even if for 2 minutes when we go outside, she curls and gets so excited. She always looks for a bone, pretty or just about anything that belongs to them to pick up and be proud of. That is what we think anyway. She acts like she is showing the pretty/bone to you for the first time. It is quite funny. She also barks at herself in our bathroom. She will hop up and see herself in the mirror and bark.....loud.

I would recommend a boxer for anyone who has either the room for them to run or is willing to walk them several times a day. They are great with all kids and most door to door salesmen are afraid of them....he he. Oh, it would also be a good idea to want a large dog. They usually mature to anywhere between 60 - 100lbs. Another thing, puppy class is mandatory!

She's adorable!! Gryphon, a bigger than normal standard poodle, sits like a person, using his back legs as if they were human legs. Very strange.

They are both so lucky to have responsible owners, and to have room to run. It hurts my heart when I see dogs cooped up in an apartment or cage, or ones that never get to stretch their legs.

Great pictures! She's a character, I love that she jumps up and barks at herself in the mirror, that would make a great youtube video clip! (p.s. Did you know my nickname is Sophie? It was my french name in high school and always kind of stuck. ;)

Soph! She does have beautiful eyes. I love how she sits on the recliner.

I fully agree with all of your generalizations about boxers. Well unless you have ones like mine who are LUMPS ON A LOG. Jaynie is the only one who even likes walks. The other 2 like couches. If they never went on a walk or excersized for the rest of their god given days they'd be fine and dandy. Aberration dogs.

Oh, like you have door-to-door salesmen. And Sophie seems to have an arm attached to her throat. That is odd.

She's a beauty. Love those ears!

And I knew you'd enjoy the bakery. I had their shrimp creole this week..yummy. Of course, I topped it off with a big ol' piece of chocolate cake, too.

She looks so sweet! I always wanted to have dogs, but then we ended up with two goats -- that sort of took care of my "dog need." Isn't it great to share your life with animals??

I showed Theo her picture on the screen. He loves her and Annie. He wants a 3 way.

What a cutie. Boxers have such soulful eyes. And a lot of energy.

What a sweetie. I like seeing photos of the dogs. They are definitely smile material.

Pam, Sophis has "experience" but Annie is a virgin. I can just see the 3-way now.....playing playing playing and more playing.
