Different laughs

That is what I practiced driving into work this morning. I was really silly too. If someone had been in the car with me they might have called the men in white coats. But even though I overslept about 10 minutes (which throws me off because I don't usually allow much extra time) I was in a great mood. Probably because I got my hair cut yesterday!!!!!!!!!! He he, I got a little boy cut too and I don't care! I told her to cut it short short short. No So, don't get any ideas. I swear, that boy. Anyway, I laughed out loud many times. All of the laughs were different. Some silly and some just like anyone would laugh. But it was fun! I also said out loud what I love. I even started talking to fellow motorists. I don't care, I was and am in a fantastic mood. I also told myself I was not going to say anything negative to anyone today. Hell, I was even really nice to a fellow employee (a temp) that I really don't care for that much. He gets on my last nerve. I have decided today will be a great day if I have anything to do with it.

I know that I said I wasn't going to mention my wound but I wanted to let you guys know something. I had another appt. at the Wound Care Center (sorry piglet, I didn't even think of getting a picture for you). The wound has closed up a great deal in just one week! How exciting is that? They told me it was doing really well. So between that good news and me getting my hair cut yesterday made it a red letter day. I have never understood what that means but Mom used to say it so that makes it a good thing.

Let's all have a great day today. Let's all look for the good in people and perhaps laugh, a lot. I know I will.

Noun 1. red-letter day - a memorably happy or noteworthy day (from the custom of marking holy days in red on church calendars)

OK So, try "Blue Ribbon"...

Otherwise, Trailboss, you write a VERY happy, uplifting blog, sounding full of laughter and gratitude!

I'm not used to those kinds of things
so am in a bit of shock -grin!

A song begins with the words: "What a day this has been...What a rare mood I'm in...etc.

Gosh, I wish you had a video of yourself in the car. Can you ask Joe about installing a camera in your vehicle?

I knew that your brother would be powerless to resist looking up red letter day. Were you deliberately baiting him?

So funny. Isn't it amazing how attitude cane determine what kind of day you have? I found this post interesting because yesterday morning on my way to work I noticed the beautiful sunrise and told myself to appreciate the wonderful postcard God had given to me and make the most of the beautiful moments I came across during the day. I tried it, and it worked beautifully. I guess we were on the same wavelength yesterday.
