Everything was going just fine yesterday. I had my stitches out, had a clean bill of health from the other doctor I saw yesterday and I was back at work working. Then I reached back and barely scratched my incision. I felt something wet on my hand and it was blood. The incision had opened up. I went out to the warehouse to ask a coworker if it had in fact opened and he said, "uh, yea, big time." I came back into the office and called the surgeon's office. They told me to come on over so I did. The nurse said we will have to treat it with dressing changes. That consists of a 2X2 gauze soaked in saline and shoved in using a Q-tip. Ouch. Then more gauze over that and surgical tape across it. I am to change it twice a day. The good news was that I can still wash my hair in the shower!!!! I go back to the doctor next Thursday and he will look at it and we will do it all over again. She indicated it will take some time for it to heal from the inside out.
So I just thought I was through with doctors for a while.

Ask if they offer anything comparable to Frequent Flyer miles.
Hopefully, it will heal quickly. No head banging for a while, okay?
I will pray this heals fast...man trailboss..when it rain it pours girl.
I have talked to joe and I am going to call my doctor. It is hurting and I am not at all comfortable with how open it is. It looks horrible.
Be careful of ants or roaches making a nest in there.
