Summertime

IMG_3455

I like my flowerpot. It smells so sweet and lovely. I have to keep it watered regularly since we have had no rain in forever. I took that picture about a week ago and now I have no yellow flower. Maybe next week.

Today is like Wednesday to me and tomorrow is like Friday. I will have a four day weekend and I am looking so forward to some more time off. Time off of work has never been sweeter for me. I haven't been sleeping well which makes for a tired Trailboss at work.

Yesterday I went to my wonderful doctor for my quarterly checkup. My BP is up, my knee hurts, let's see, I'm not sleeping well, my sugar was a tad high and it is time for another stress test. I have reached my total out of pocket on insurance yet again which makes it time for tests to be completed.

Oh, the doctor told me that my problem with sleeping is more than likely due to the "change of life." Imagine that. One more thing to thank Eve for. Geez. He gave me Ambien 5mg. Have any of you guys taken that before? I have heard and read it can do some strange things to you. Like amnesia. Oh my.....I have enough trouble remembering what I did 5 minutes ago. At least now I can have something to blame it on.

I have downloaded a couple of programs on my home computer that seem to have found some things to delete. Hopefully this will help. I have been posting from work since I can post pictures here and not at home.

I guess that's all for now. Unless I forgot something in which case I will remember and then forget before I can get back on for a post script.

I do hope you find some relief to not sleeping - when you do - please pass it along! I need some uninterrupted sleep!

I work with someone that takes Ambien and their experience hasn't been so great! Apparently there are some pretty drastic mood changes that go along with it? Just be aware if you start feeling like you want to bite someone's head off - it may be the Ambien? OR not? LOL Good luck with whatever you decide to try!

Not sleeping is a pain. I sleep like a baby most nights. Some weird dreams occasionally. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend too.

I love the flower pot! I was just thinking I needed to go pick up some flowers for mine. I planted some seeds in it late last summer and of course that didn't work and nothing really grew in it.
I usually sleep fine, but if I wake up early in the morning, sometimes I have a hard time falling back to sleep!

I hope you can get some well needed sleep soon! I usually sleep really well, sometimes too well, and don't get up until 10:00! But I am a night owl.
Your flower pot is so pretty! If I had more of a green thumb, I'd try a couple. But I'd forget to water them, than they'd die.

I think you need to start stopping for a massage daily on your way home!

Gorgeous pot. I have a brown thumb so those don't last around me. Ambien has a side effect that can cause sleep walking, sleep eating, or sleep driving, or so I've read. When you need a refill or want to change, ask your dr about Halcion. My psych has me on that and there are no side effects for me, no grogginess the morning after nor if you get awakened. Scott is right about the massage. Now you take care of yourself, ya heah.

I like that idea So. Thanks Zane. If I have any side effects I will ask him about Halcion.

there is a natural option, it's called melatonin and it works really well.

i've heard weird ambien stories, make sure joe watches you pretty closely if you try it out.
