Joe had a nice surprise today for Father's Day. Beth and Abby came out this morning. I knew about it but he didn't. When they got here he still didn't know and Abby went into his room with a homemade father's day card that she had written herself. It was green with a big red heart on the front. What a nice surprise for him.
I made a big breakfast of bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled cheesy eggs and biscuits and gravy. Oh my! It was so good. Joe really appreciated it. Afterwards we settled into the living room for a few minutes and I motioned for Steph to get his present and cards in my closet.
I might mention now that Joe rarely wears a shirt around the house during the summer.
First the cards. My favorite part!
All together now........awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Then he opened his present.
Here he said his girls will always be right next to his heart. So sweet.
Look at that smile! He was very happy.
Last but not least, here he loves on the girls.
Shortly after that we set up the Slip n' Slide for Abby. She had a grand time. Pictures to come of course.
Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers in the world. "Any man can make a baby but it takes a real man to be a father." Amen.

Happy Pop's Day, Joe!
Happy Fathers Day Papa Joe.
The only thing that would make your breakfast even better would be to add some New Mexico green chiles to the cheesy eggs. Yummmmmy!

Awwwwwwwwwww! That is the sweetest and cutest thing! I love the T-shirt! Love the look on Joe's face too.
Happy Father's Day Joe!
What a perfect gift! :) And goodness, that breakfast sounds divine! I wanted to take my dad to dinner, but we had it at my grandma's instead, which was homemade and much better, anyway!
Love, love, love that t-shirt! I don't think he could have gotten a better gift! I'm sure he feels the same way!
