Well, ya can't have everything

My Abby didn't come over. Whine. Whine. Boo hoo. Sniff Sniff. Joe wasn't feeling very well while he was in town yesterday so he came on home while she was still at the skating rink. Her step-grandfather's daughters invited her to go skating. She was going to wear her bike helmet but her head is too big now. Big head.

I stayed home yesterday as I had some odd samples to collect during the day for the new doctor I saw last week. I had to collect some other weird stuff at midnight too. Hopefully, after all these dang tests he will find out what needs to be done about the tumor on my left kidney. Perhaps then I can get off of some of these hoards of blood pressure medicines I have had to take and wear lately.

Today I will take Annie to see my son Ryan. He called yesterday and asked me if I would bring him 1/2 gallon of whole milk. Lifeline Ministries operates on donations only so they don't always have the little 1/2 pints of milk like he drank the last time I was there. I am looking forward to seeing him. I'm glad to be able to say that.

My family wants me to complete breakfast now. I am the official gravy maker. I do make some good stuff, I must admit.

Hey, I think you told me in a comment that today is your 25th anniversary? Congrats! As my dad would say, "25 years in the ring and no one's been knocked out. That's good!"

It's tough missing your granddaughter. They can be real tonic for the soul.

Mmmm, gravy. Love it.
