If you just added a bit of grape to this slushy it would probably taste pretty good!

I love this picture of the fence taken from my porch.

In this one do you see the trees to the left that have the branches about to give way to the ice? Joe has been keeping an eye on these 2 trees to see if/when the branches might fall.

The fence looks pretty cool too.

We are lucky to still have electricty. It has gone off and on a few times but so far so good. Wish us luck!

GAK! We're supposed to get down to the 40's tonight and I'm already dreading it. I don't know how well I'd handle a real winter...
Stay off the roads!

We haven't had a Carolina ice storm in a while. I'm glad. It ruins the trees and the power lines always go down. Stay safe.

Beautiful to look at! But I'm sure not so much to live with on a daily basis! Stay warm!

It is so pretty to look at, but it's not something I want to experience on a regular basis!

Hope the electricity holds out for ya'll!

I love that bottom picture, did you convert it to black and white or did it just come out like that? It's wonderful!

Glad you have had the heater running, stay warm and safe.

I wondered if you had gotten ice until I read some of what Jill wrote on Facebook and I had NOT received any correspondence from you today. hint hint

Great pictures, but I know it's tough. We lived a long time in the East and experienced many of these ice storms.

I even saw a report on the Weather Channel from Paducah.

You can keep it. I don't miss it.

I just spoke with Lisa, they have been without power since 11:15AM. More ice is expected overnight and it may be a while before she posts again.

Yikes! That is crazy. Lovely, but crazy. I hope the horsey's are warm. And that you don't lose power, because then we don't get to hear from you! ;)

What a difference a day or two makes! The ice is so pretty, but i know that it must be causing havoc. Prayers are with you.
