Thursday Ramblings

Did yall realize that Christmas will be here any day now? I have 5 grandbabies to buy for this year. Isn't that a blessing? Too bad I forgot to plant my money tree. I could use a good harvest from one right about now.

I am still so busy at work these days. I am grateful for that item. I would much rather be busy than to have nothing to do. The days just drag on those days. That makes me feel good about my job. Actually we have been guaranteed no layoffs for the next year. That was what we were told right after we heard no one was getting a raise. Guess you can't have it all.

I have a new computer at work. I have never used Excel before and I am having a dog of a time trying to figure it out. How do people invent these things? Who could be that smart? I'll get it with some help from the little help button but I sure would like for someone to just lean over my shoulder and guide me along. **sigh**

Well, time to get back to work. It's a pilin' up.

There are some good help books out there on Excel. I'm pretty good at it as well. Let me know.

Excel is a pia but when you can get it to work for you it rocks. I have taught many a grandmother to use it and while they dreaded it like the plague they swear by it now and would never go back. You can add me to the list of people willing to help and answer and ridiculous question you have. If I don't know the answer I know someone who does. Really, you would not believe the things that Excel can do for you it's incredible.

Excel is all tricks, it's just learning them that is the kick in the pants.

As others have said, Excel is a good deal when you get it figured out.

In you right-hand column, it reads "Who's Riding My Trial?"
Is that what it's supposed to read? LOL

Thanks for taking part in our prayer moment for our friend Snickers. Heaven knows, you can identify with how her owners are feeling.

Kisses for SweetSophiegirl and Pattypreciouspup.

Thanks Dave. I corrected it. That is funny because it has been there forever and you must be the first one to notice, or at least say something!

Warning: I'm the one riding your trial.

Excel is fun, and the best way to learn is to just play around with it. Create a fake spreadsheet and jump in with some numbers & calculations. Next, you can play around with different colors & patterns, and inserting things like symbols & pictures. Soon, your reports will be the talk of the town.
