3am and wide awake

That won't make for a very good day at the office tomorrow, or should I say today. I went to the dr today to nip a cold/cough in the bud. I got a steroid shot and an antibiotic shot in the bum. Perhaps that has something to do with my insomnia, I have no clue. But it is what it is. At least I'm warm and not hungry. Goodness knows there are plenty of people in the USA that are both plus not sleeping tonight.

We had a delicious surprise visit from my grandkids Sunday. Well, Joe knew about but I didn't and I absolutely enjoyed every second of it.

I'm not one much for Christmas dresses but my goodness......what a doll!

Speaking of dolls

Can you believe I only took 2 pictures of my precious? Of course I took a few of my sweetness.

She's smiling in this one!

She smiles a lot these days. I don't remember my babies smiling at 12 weeks. But my memory fails me most of the time.

Just too cute for words.

After they left I took the golf cart for a spin with camera in hand.

Looking right out of our driveway

Then left

Thrilling huh? I don't know why I didn't go on down the road. Oh wait, I remember now. Gun season opened the day before. Lots of hunters in our area and I wasn't donning orange. I really do need to take a spin around the block soon. After all, it will be winter soon and brrrrrr. Me no like the cold.

Cute kid pix.

I bet you're uber-productive today since you got up so early.

She is just adorable in her red dress. So sweet! Christmas will be here before we know it!

Take that tag off her dress before you let her out of the house.

The pictures of your two monkeys are cute!

I didn't sleep well at all last night. In fact, I kept waking up. I think that I finally got to sleep around 4 AM. Take care.

I didn't sleep either! What's going on. Cute pictures of the girls. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Cute pictures. It's wise not to be out when hunters are around. Most are very responsible, but there are always a few idiots out there with no training or no respect for others.

Such cute kiddos. Isn't it hard to get babies to smile in pictures? You're going to have such a fun Christmas with them.

What a great surprise to have them show up. Don't worry about only taking 2 pictures, next time you can make up for it.

yep, up at 3 isn't the worst thing - at least you have warmth and food. what a great blessing.

Sorry you aren't feeling well! This whole household got that cold this past week but the hubby is the only one who needed the shot in the bum of steriods and antibiotics. Good news is the steriods will make you feel much better. I thought I was being a wimp and the hubby was toughing through it much better. Turns out it was because he was hopped up on meds and I had to suffer through it au natural.
Feel better!
