That is how I have felt the past few days at work. There isn't enough time in the day to complete what I need to. There are new reports to create and send, material to enter and check and orders to get ready and ship. AAK! I can't seem to get ahead even for a few minutes. So what do I do? I stop to take a break and post.
We have been having absolutely gorgeous weather this week. It is expected to extend into the weekend which I am really looking forward to. After such a rainy October (we broke a record for the amount of rainfall) everyone in these parts is ready for a break. I have also been enjoying driving to work in the daylight this week. I know that it won't last but a few weeks and the dreaded darkness will come back, but in the meantime it is nice to be able to see the deer that are trying to cross in front of my vehicle.
Speaking of my vehicle, I finally got it out of the shop today. The window was fixed (motor was out) and a new starter put on. We are really fortunate to have such an honest mechanic. I have had some dealings with mechanics in my lifetime and most all of them have tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. Needless to say, I have stuck to my guns and never been ripped off. It pays to be tough sometimes. I learned that a long time ago.
Patty is doing well at home. She and Sophie play so much. They both open their mouths just like she and Annie used to do. It is nice. Patty loves her bones (chewies) too. She loves to pounce on them like only a puppy can do. When I relax in the evenings I love to keep the tv off and just watch them and how they interact with each other. It brings a smile to my face and relieves any tension or pressure I might have not left at the office.
I sent some pictures of Patty to the original owners this weekend. I wanted to make sure that the little girl knew that she was happy and had a good home.
That's about it for now. I have to get back to work. I hope everything is going well with you folks.

Always good to take a break.

I too, love driving to work in the daylight. Loving the sunshine and trying to enjoy it before it slips away!
