Pattykins

My sweetie is having her surgery today. We decided to have her spayed for a number of reasons, mainly because we want her to be healthier. Bless her heart, when she and Joe left this morning she thought it was just another ride in the "truck"

If yall feel like it, send a nice thought our way. Our neighbor recently had their dog spayed and he died 6 days later. The same thing happened a few years ago to my sister-in-law. It scares me to death.

I have faith that she will be fine. I just can't imagine anything happening to that little bundle of joy!

Prayer on its way.

I hope that all goes well. As long as the vet is used to spaying large breeds, things should be okay. Keep an eye on her gums to make sure they are pink.

I have all the confidence in the world in our vet. He helped us through Annie's cancer and Sophie's puppies as well. They do a blood test prior to the surgery to insure everything is ok. That made me feel a lot better. It's just a spooky feeling to know "what if"

Thanks Syd, I will look for that.

I just talked to Joe and Patty is doing fine. She is starting to wake up. Meanwhile, Sophie is moping around the house. Poor baby. I'm sure she doesn't understand where her sister went. She will be so happy to see her tomorrow morning.
