TGIF!!!

We have been enjoying some gorgeous temperatures in W. Kentucky the past few weeks. It is such a nice break from the awful heat wave from this summer. I am contemplating meeting my family at the theater to see "Secretariat" after work. Steph and I both want to see it and for me, the only way to see a movie is the matinee. Who can afford the evening prices? Plus I really want to hear the thunder of the hooves on the big screen first. I love that sound!

I do have to leave work a few minutes early today in order to stop by the Sleep Source and pick up a new mask. The one I have been using is really irritating the skin around my nose plus I have noticed I am gritting my teeth at night. I have not done that in years! I have been sleeping wonderfully but I want to try the pillow mask. I am told that all the fine folks @ the Sleep Source that have sleep apnea use them and goodness gracious......who knows better than them!!?? It will take some adjusting and getting used to, just like anything, but I feel it will be worth it in the long run.

I noticed on the way home yesterday that the window and door lock on the door that was recently repaired (fender bender from 9/7) are not working. Not a good thing for me. I am grateful that no one was hurt in that accident. I am grateful that the lady that ran the red light actually HAD current insurance. What I am NOT grateful for is the hassle I have had to deal with because of this woman's carelessness. UGH! I know, I know. I shouldn't complain.

I lost half a day's work due to a coworker who cut his head. I volunteered to take him to the ER. Oh the joy! But I am thankful that he is ok and it didn't take that long. Especially considering how emergency room visits can be. He has gone home now after 6 stitches and a whopper of a headache.

I am looking forward to the weekend as usual. I hope everyone else had a good one!

Secretariat lived just up the road from me a piece. I hope it's a good movie.

I agree with you about seeing Secretariat on the big screen. We plan to do that after we get home from visiting our kids in Colorado.

I want to go see Secretariat this weekend. Been reading about him and his 22 lb. heart.
