I love this picture of Joe and Brutus

Brutus was definitely the pick of the litter, or so we thought. But he was the very last puppy sold. A lot of people were attracted to Whitey and who could blame them?

Our farrier Joe, wanted one to replace their female that recently died of cancer. We bartered for him. Joe charges $50 to shoe one horse so it worked out great. I didn't have to pay a farrier bill for a long time. But the best part of it was that we knew the puppy would have a fantastic home. Joe and his wife Becky trail ride a lot. They chose this little jewel

We called him Adam. They named him Astro. Sir Astro of St. John is his official name. He is a very happy dog. We have seen him a couple of times since and he is one of the most well behaved dog I have ever seen. And he loves going horseback riding. Boxers need a lot of exercise and believe me, he gets his.

Here is Brutus and Adam playing with their brothers.

Here are our neighbors that came to see them. Allison and Chelsea.

These girls can ride a horse like no body's business.

We had Sophie fixed after this litter. We were glad all of the pups got good homes. But we didn't want to have anymore. There are so many unwanted dogs in our country it is unbelievable. We sure did have a ball with them though. Best of all every single one of them has brought unbelievable love to their families. You can't put a price on that!

OMG. I have no idea why, but I got all teary eyed looking at these puppies. Those are the sweetest pups I've ever seen.

I'm glad that you made the decision not to have any more pups. You are so right about the number of unwanted dogs. It's such a shame. What cute faces on the babies.

Look at those adorable Boxer puppy faces! I love Boxers. Sounds like they all went to good homes.

They were so cute! Just like any puppy, they grow up.

Adorable puppies. So glad to read that Annie is still doing so well.
I know the tough love for Ryan is hard, but you are doing the right thing. If he ever comes to stay again, the best thing is to say one drink equals immediate eviction. That's what I did with my niece. It was hard, but I had to do it. That was 3 yrs ago, and she is still out there. She's 58.
God Bless. Love you.

Nice pictures and it's good they all found good homes. I agree with the earlier post about being the right thing to do to fix Sophie. It's hard on their bodies.

They were SO cute! I really liked the white one, too. Today on the way to the barn with my mom, we saw a boxer in someone's yard and she said "It looks like Trailboss's dogs!" It totally did! Except your girls are prettier. ;) Then my mom said how much she really liked your blog and how down to earth you were. :) I just had to share that with ya.

They're so adorable. I don't know which one I like best. Puppies always make you smile, don't they?
