It Must be a Full Moon!

Because I just gave what-for to a coworker in New Jersey. He's really not a coworker but rather the owner of a company that we do business with. He hates working with women and is very condescending when he talks to me so I let him know. I also let a few other people know. But he's a Yankee so what can I expect? I am over it now and back to work......with decent people.

With that said, what makes people talk to other people like they are less than them? What makes them think they can talk however they want and people won't react? I feel sorry for the sweet girl I usually deal with in the office. She is as good as gold but jobs are hard to come by there. She and I work great together but she is out sick with the flu. Poor baby. Oh how I long for her to come back!

Anyway, on to better things. That guy isn't even worth my time to write about. I am so thankful for my job. I work with folks I like, make decent money for this area and have great benefits. I think that I will just ponder that item and be grateful. Yes, that's what I will do.

Let's everyone have a great day and be nice to each other. A smile and/or wave to a stranger goes a long way.

I think that it's people who are angry and have a lot of unaddressed issues that treat people badly. And it isn't just Yankees. I think that regardless of where people are from, there are those who are good of heart and then there are those who don't know how to be kind. I was told to pray for the latter for 30 days in an effort to remove a resentment. It works.

Absolutely! And remember just because someone is broken it doesn't mean the 1) we can fix them and 2) we have to make their lives more broken or allow them to break us.

Ask your brother. He says the planets are in an alignment for a few days that will make people in Paducah get all tore up over people in New Jersey.
So it's not you; it's the galaxy.

I will never figure out why people are that way, I've worked with the public for 18 years and it amazes me how rude and nasty people can be. Just makes me want to move to the middle of nowhere and never talk to another human again!
