As Gil Favor would say, roll em' roll em' roll em' keep them doggies moving Rawhide! That is how I got my nickname and the title of this blog. Did you know that Gil Favor met his demise in a pond. What a way to die.
I love to watch my babies roll. It helps keep the flies off of them. Poor equines have to deal with flies and those pesky horse flies that literally are Dracula sucking the blood out.
Now he is running to the lean-to. They flies aren't that bad there!
Jones was already under it so they stood side by side. That way they can take advantage of each other's tails to keep the flies off. Horses really are remarkable creatures. At least in my eyes.

Your babies are BEAUTIFUL. I am originally from Kentucky and everyone assumes I know a lot about horses - which I don't. I live in New Jersey now and I see soooo many more horses here. Therei is a horse farm right around the corner from my house.
And now you are the Trailboss and you have a pond. Please be careful!!!
Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!
Set 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in Rawhide.
Do you ever run up and tickle them on their bellies when they are rolling around like that?
The Rawhide song is going to be playing in my head all day now. I wish we could find a place like yours! My DH would love to have the land. We're looking for a home in the same area, just something different. I do like our town, I grew up here, have family here and it's a good place to raise a family. Your place looks like a little piece of paradise. It's so green.
Went back and looked at the dogs, and well...they could grow on me.But the horses. They are just so damn BIG!
