Our dogs seem to never tire of playing and jumping. I guess that is one reason the Boxer breed is called the clown of the dog breeds. Our two certainly fit that bill!
Here is Joe with a tomato of all things. Sophie just must have it.
Fooled again!
Must get tomato, must get tomato, must get tomato
Hey Sophie, The Flying Nun called and she wants her habit back!
See that stick Sophie is picking up? That used to be our pecan tree Joe planted last spring. We had a hard freeze then and now Sophie plays with the truck. It is a huge stick!
Mom, why do those dogs always run around? Look, one has the pecan tree in her mouth. I'm glad I am a horse.
The bad thing though about Sophie's big stick is that she went between a small tree and Joe with it in her mouth. It knocked him to the ground. But my husband is talented. You see he had just picked some of the first tomatoes from our garden and he saved all 3 of them that he was holding. Oh, and he was ok too. We ate the tomatoes last night for dinner. BLT's yummy.
The garden is coming along great. Can't wait for fresh corn!

OH I was waiting for the tomatoe shot!! Very funny! Boxers are so funny! Yours a re great. I still think your husband should've given them the tomatoe!!
Trailboss,
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Great post. My dad had boxers growing up. Where in Kentucky do you live? Before moving to New Mexico we lived just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio and I have a sister and her family who live in Bowling Green, KY.
Regards,
Dan
Oh darn! I so wanted to see one of your terrific dogs with an exploded smushed tomato dribbling from their lips! haha
You've got some amazingly happy and joy-filled pooches!
I love those green and yellow metal chairs!
Dang Baby, when is my BLT arriving.
So, we bought those at a yard sale for $2 a piece. Joe painted them and they turned out great! We figure if we wanted to, which we don't, we could sell them for at least $40 each. Isn't that crazy? We have $5.00 invested in them!
I've had fun catching up on your blog this evening.
The garden look good, and the dogs are hilarious - as usual.
Vehicle: I think you should buy an El Camino.
And, of course, you-know-who has been keeping me up to date with your doctor visits, and I couldn't be more thrilled that you got the best possible outcome from that scare.
Look at those tomatoes!!! I cannot believe that you have ripe ones already. Around here, tomatoes are not ready until late August/early September. Your WHOLE garden is beautiful, and it looks like your doggies have a great place to live! The "human" twins below are precious as well. Hope that your treatments are going well for you, and good luck finding a new car...I think I covered everything (lol)!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and introducing me to yours! I love your garden (I'm such a lazy terrible gardener, which is a shame as I love gardens) and your dogs are adorable!
How were the BLT's? Gotta love tomatoes fresh out of the garden! Your dogs are always running and having so much fun at your place. They are very happy, I can tell!
The BLTs were great! We fixed extra bacon because we thought a friend was going to eat but he didn't so I had one for lunch Monday.
Our tomatoes usually come in around the 4th of July. This year they were a tad bit early which works for us.
That is a huge stick!! Your dogs are so cute!! I love the nun one!! LOL!! I am so jealous you have such a fabulous garden! One of these years I am going to plant one!!
You have the greatest pictures. Love them.
LMAO-those pups are too funny!
Your garden is gorgeous! Got mine in pots this year-getting back into the gardening thing-who can afford produce? If you can find it? And if it isn't going to make you sick?
The twins are beautiful-love the chubby cheeks.
Can't help you on the car-I'm a pickup girl. Have had 2 cars in my life-a Ford Probe(with the Mitsubishi engine-loved that car) and a Toyota Supra(with a straight six engine-we got everywhere super fast). Paid $600 for the Ford and $700 for the Toyota and only had them to save on diesel. I remember freaking when diesel got over a $1 a gallon and I thought I couldn't afford to drive my big pickup anymore. LOL-If I knew then what I know now...
Please open a summer camp for AA women...I'd come.
Beautiful dogs, great pictures! I'm a bit jealous of that corn you have growing! :)
