There is something about dirt and kids. Kids are just attracted to dirt and just have to play in it. I did the same thing when I was young. My favorite thing to do in the dirt was play with Matchbox cars. My brothers and I would build entire cities with roads and everything.
Abby didn't go that far but she did spy some dirt while she was at our house this past weekend.
Did you see that Grandmother?
Yes my precious most beautiful child in the world. I saw you playing in the dirt.
I'm going to do it again!
But first I must dance a jig. *note the shoes are on the wrong feet*
She then asked her Papa Joe to show her where the plastic ball went. It was rolling off the roof at her.
If she had been at the back of our house she would not have needed help to see the ball.
See what I mean? We live in the ground which makes it handy when we have bad weather. Abby has not realized yet that she can actually walk on the roof. I don't look forward to that day because I will not spank her, but you can bet her Papa Joe will!

Precious. Must like pink. That's all I ever see her wearing.
I have noticed that too. Must speak to her Momma about that item. But she does look good in pink.
I never have understood why little girls with red hair always wear pink.
If our house had been blessed with such an accessible roof when I was a kid, my parents would have been forced to move.
I swear I left a comment earlier that said it looks like the earth swallowed your house. But I don't see it.
So, it must be with the veal cutlet you ordered!
