Steph and her friend Nicki were playing with the water hose today and the girls just had to play too. They do this anytime anyone else starts playing or just messing around.
Once again Annie has turned into some kind of monster or something. Whatever it is she is really starting to scare me!

It doesn't take much
It doesn't take much to entertain Abby. She can take just about anything and make a game out of it. In these pictures she found herself playing with a lead rope. She seemed fascinated by it!
Dadgum it, let me start over!
Gee Papa Joe, thanks for the help................
Come on Papa Joe, you can do it, jump!
Meanwhile these two yahoos just lay there not helping a bit!
I think it is great when kids use their immagination. It took Abby a bit to learn what pretend is but she has it down pat now. Meanwhile I was 'imagining' what it would look like if Papa Joe actually DID jump! hahahaha

Maters n' Such
Last weekend Joe, Abby and myself took a stroll in the yard. I was ever so pleased to see some babies already!
Joe was watering the garden with a large sprinkler and Abby had lots of fun!
"Grandmother, that sprinkler got me all wet......fix it." "Of course my precious darling, whatever you want, your wish is my command."
How about we go into town and get some ice cream? We went to DQ and had most yummy ice cream items. Abby had soft serve in a cup, I had a Reese's P-butter cup Blizzard and Joe had a brownie waffle thingy.
Yum Yum!
Abby decided to be like her Papa Joe......butt heads!
It was a wonderful ending to a most wonderful day. Abby fell asleep in her carseat on the way home but quickly woke up when we got here. It took a while to get her little butt to bed but she finally did fall asleep, and her Grandmother fell asleep right beside her because the LOML ALWAYS sleeps with me when she comes over.

What? No Pink?
Yes that is right folks. I made sure to NOT put pink on the LOML this past weekend. She and I took a ride on the golf cart shortly before we left to take her back to the city.
"Look Grandmother, honeysuckle, just like at my home." Abby says home not house. Isn't that neat?
"I have one for you and me to share. I also have one for Papa Joe!"
We went around the pastures 2 times. She used to be afraid to ride on the golf cart but she decided to give it another try a while back and she loved it. The horses put on a little show for us.
They kicked up a lot of dust and Abby and I hollered and laughed and laughed. It was a grand time. Not long after that I gathered all of her things and loaded her into my car. We had not eaten lunch so I stopped at Back Yard Burger for a bacon c-burger for me and McDonald's next door for chicken nuggets and a coke for her. The two of us ate at an outside table at McDonald's way in the back of the property. While we were sitting there eating Abby said "Grandmother, this is FUN!" I had to agree with her.
Life is good!
