Love is in the air!
Joe was able to get these pictures of my babies the other day. I just love the way horses interact with each other.
Dakota was lying down also but got up as Joe was coming up the hill. I would have loved to have had a picture or two of both lying down. As it is it looks like Dakota is loving on Jones.

I used to sit on my horse when he was lying down. He seemed to enjoy it. They are quite the characters.
Great pictures. Our two love to lie out in the morning sun in the back corner of the paddock when the weather's cold. I know the sand is probably warmer there and the sun helps warm their bones.

Funny you should say that Bill cause I was just thinking before lunch that a trip to New China is in order this week. If only to sneer at the lady that threw my money at me! he he
Pam, He is not going to hurt the mare. They nip at each other just below the end of the mane as a way of endearment. That is also how they dicipline a young one that is acting up. It isn't unusual in a herd for more equines than the momma to get after a colt.
