Sunrise in Kansas, Kentucky

This was what greeted me as I left for work yesterday morning. You can't see it in the photo but there was fog hovering just above the water. It was really beautiful.




As I was driving down one of our little country roads I noticed this off to the side of the road.



I sure was glad they were off the road and not on it. Usually they wander across the road at their own free will. But then again, they are wild so of course they have their own free will. How silly of me! Just another thing I love about living in the country.
