Ugh! Today is Monday, there is no doubt. I didn't sleep very well last night but it was nice to have a couple of sweet things in the bed with me. Patty is getting into a pretty regular habit of sleeping with me every night. Last night Sophie joined us for most of the time.
We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend in west Kentucky. Low humidity and nice temperatures. We were outside most of Saturday enjoying it.
One of the things I love to do is watch the girls play. Anyone who reads my blog regularly knows that. I never can get enough pictures of them having fun.
Patty is really doing well off of the lead. We don't leave her outside unsupervised but she listens very well to us and minds much better at an earlier age than the other 2 did. She is a very smart little girl. She is quite the happy one too. What dog wouldn't be happy in Kansas? Our dogs have the life of Riley. Just like it should be.
Sorry that some of these pictures turned out so light. I didn't fiddle enough with them I reckon.
I meant to get some pictures of Jones that day. She was feeling her oats a bit. She is doing well. The farrier is coming out Tuesday to give her a trim. Now that she stays barefoot all of them time he doesn't need to come as often as before. I am glad she has those good Morgan black feet. Morgans are known to have some of the toughest hooves in the equine world.
I am thankful to have a job to come to this morning. Even though I am not busy at all at work, I do enjoy it. Considering how many people are currently unemployed I am very grateful for what I do have.
Let's all have a grand Monday, shall we?

Glad that you had a good weekend. I like the photos of the happy dogs. Happy Monday to you!
Wow, looks like your two boxers had a wonderful weekend. In Toronto we had wind and snow, it was not nice.
Those pups do know how to have fun! We had a nice weekend here as well , a little rain (badly neede ) but overall sunny and bright. You have a wonderful day
I'm taking a few minutes at work to catch up on your blog, despite being busy. I've enjoyed all the pictures.
I have vivid dreams, too, so I know how you feel. Last night I dreamed that I was on a plane, and we were landing in a residential neighborhood. No one else on board found that unusual, and we ran right into someone's shed & flattened it when we taxied to a stop.
It's weird Bill, the past 2 nights I don't remember anything I dreamed. Maybe I should write about it more often! I still didn't sleep well last night though.
Those are two happy girls.
