Last Sunday Stephanie, Abby and myself surprised Ryan with a visit. We stopped by Burger King and picked up lunch. It was a really nice day so we ate at a picnic table at Lifeline Ministries.
After we finished our lunch Abby spied a swingset. She wandered over to it and in the sandbox behind the swings she found some toys.
Ryan and Steph slowly wandered over there too.
Abby made a new friend. Meet Addison.
They played together and were fast best friends.
Look Grandmother! We're having fun!
Addison's mommy handed out hotdogs. Abby didn't know what to think since the hotdog had cooled off.
Here she is telling her Sissy that she can't finish it and needs some help.
Sissy was glad to oblidge.
Abby started at one end and Steph started at the other end.
Teamwork!
You're looking really good Ryan. Thank God you are where you need to be.
Here are some of the bunk houses and also the dining room.
This is the chapel where they can go anytime.
Soon it was time to go. Abby and Addison said their goodbyes. After all, Abby told us that Addison was her best friend!
See ya later!
It was so good to see Ryan. He is looking better each time I see him. He has a long road ahead of him but his attitude is great. He is ready to meet the challenge before him.

He looks great and yeah that's coming from a person that doesn't know him or how far down he went. Hell I've only seen 1 alcoholic on a bad day and he was yellow and had to go to the er immediately. That was a bad holiday for our family as I recall. They couldn't do anything for my cousin other than tell him that he was dying, like he cared right?
But on the flip side, Ryan looks great in those pictures and I'm so happy for all of you that he is heading well into the right direction!
Looks like things are going well for him .I am so glad that he is safe and healing
He does look great. I'm so glad you get to visit with him. These moments are crucial in his and your life. Still praying for him friend.
Looks like a fun time! Glad to hear Ryan is doing well. I will keep him in my prayers.
Good for Ryan. I liked the words on the basketball goal in the back of one picture - "Lifeline - Aim High"
I pray that Ryan continues to aim high - high enough to seek the God who made him and who loves him.

Good for Ryan. It looks like he is happy.
I'm happy for you! What a difference in his looks.
I saw my son today, but was not allowed to take pictures:(
Yes, he looks good.
And I don't see any snow on the ground.
I can feel the calm in these pictures. It's nice to see your kids together. And Abby:) Isn't it great the way girlfriends become BFF so quickly?
I am glad to hear things with Ryan are getting better. He has taken the right steps forward and you all look so calm and happy in these pictures. Congrats!
I am so glad he is doing well.
