Joe and I met Thomas, Beth and Abby at the airport on Saturday to see her off on the big ole airplane.
Naturally Miss Abby hammed it up for the camera!
Then Abby helped her mommy with her luggage. Beth was smart and had carry on only.
The goodbye was hard for Beth. She is such a good mommy and has never been away from her precious Abby for more than a day or two. The parting was very emotional for her.
Hey Grandmother, there goes my mommy getting on the airplane!
Grandmother, I love my mommy. I am going to give her a big hug and lots of sloppy kisses when she gets home!
Yes my sweet angel, she is. She is going to take care of your cousins for Aunt Amy. Papa Joe, can I get on your shoulders so I can see my mommy?
Bye Bye Mommy! I love you! I'll see you in a week!
Papa Joe! I can see the plane way up high!
I can't see it anymore Papa Joe. Mommy is on her way to see my cousins.
We left and took our precious to dinner. She stayed at our house Saturday night where we had loads of fun. She played outside, rode the golf cart and fed the horses. Abby went home today. Her Daddy got off of work early and is spending some really good quality time with his daughter. He is a really good Daddy.
Stay tuned for an update next weekend when Beth comes home. Talk about some crying going on..........happy tears will be flowing in west Kentucky for sure!

A day and night with Abby. Aren't you the lucky one. How's about some pictures of you and she.
In those pictures of the big ole airplane in the sky, the propellers are not in motion. I thought the plane might crash!
You & Joe are some awesome grandparents. No,TB, I don't have grandkids yet, but I'm taking lessons from your blog so I'll be ready someday.

That little girl is so sweet and I only know her through your blog. I can only imagine how sweet she is in person.
The big airport....I have flown out of there several times. I hope she has a safe flight home....
