Buy another vehicle that is. I have had my 1999 Camry since we bought it brand spanking new off of the dealership lot. It is a good car. Dependable and fuel efficient, just like I like them. But I realize that it is getting older and with almost 130,000 miles it is only a matter of time before things start happening. I had told myself that I was going to drive it until the wheels fall off and I am still tempted to do just that, but I feel that it is time to let it go and get a good late model used vehicle.
I have been looking online at what is available in my area. There are several that I like. I totally love Toyotas but frankly, I don't want another Camry right now. I have driven the same style vehicle for 11 years and I am ready for something different. Something fun to drive. Fun but dependable and affordable. I have been smitten with the Honda CRVs lately. So I am on a quest to find one that I can afford with low miles. I really don't like shopping for vehicles, mainly because I get so disgusted with salespeople. If I can find one that will leave me alone until I need to ask him/her a question we will get along fine. I can't stand it when they follow you around asking questions that frankly are none of their business. After all, this is not my first rodeo. I have bought and sold vehicles many times in my life and I don't need a salesperson asking "what do you want your monthly payment to be?" and stuff like that. I have been known to simply walk away from someone in mid-sentence, get in my car and leave. I am not a very nice customer when it comes to buying a vehicle. I know that so many salespeople see a "woman" coming and, well, you know the rest. I am far from that kind of "woman."
So, we shall see what I find. I should say we find as Joe will be every bit as involved as myself in this process. He does however usually let me do the talking since he knows me very well. He knows it just works better that way.
I'll keep yall updated on what is happening in this quest to find the perfect used car for me. Oh boy, this is gonna take a while!

I've had a RAV4 for 3 years and love it to death. I looked at the Honda CRV at the same time, but the Toyota was better made, tighter. There are people where I work who have CRVs though, and they like them a lot. I like the small SUV body style, I can haul chicken feed or people. A dog could easily ride in the back. The only downside to All Wheel Drive that I've found is when I had to replace one tire at 30,000 miles, I had to replace them all, even though they had plenty of tread. Good luck with the car buying!
Good luck! Bit ny favorite thing to do either.
I don't like car shopping.
I thought you were going to say that you were going to buy another horse!
