The Rest of Feeding Time

After we got the babes fed, burped and put down for a bit of a after sweet potato nap it was time for the humans to eat.

First the most important salt steak had to be sliced to perfection.

Joe prepared two steaks to ensure plenty for all. We also had green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and yummy biscuits.

Note the number of mouths that are busy, and we are not talking about talking!

Of course my precious sat next to her Aunt Amy and had to share many things with her at the dinner table.

She also gave her Grandmother some precious looks.

Grandmother, are you taking my picture?

The cook is sampling his specialty.

Hey! Hey......Papa Joe? Did you forget about Annie and Sophie?

Oh no my Abby. They are having a special supper outside. Canned food along with some yummy kibbles.

In fact Sophie just can't get enough of that goodness. She is even saving some on the end of her nose for later.

Then, one by one, the babies started waking up. It was a rush to see who would "win" to scoop them up but Daddy was just too fast. He is a good daddy.

And you can't ask for more than that.

OHMYGOSH! My mouth is watering like no other. Would you post a recipe for that steak. Like what kind of steak and how you do it all. My husband would love it too. He makes one heck of a prime rib. Oops I have to wipe the drool off my keyboard! :)

I agree with Pam, your grandkids are ADORABLE! But there's nothing like a sweet dog face to melt my heart!

Thanks for the comment on my blog! I actually started riding at a western riding camp in Minnesota, but have always taken English lessons. I love it, but still have a secret desire to wear a cowboy hat!

Damn, now I have to go get something to eat. I haven't ever heard of a salt stake, but it looks real good.
