I work in the shipping and receiving business. I have an office basically all to myself. I do not work with any women, in fact there are only 2 women employed here and the other one works in another building. I love my job. I love what I do and I think I do a good job. I am left alone to do my own thing and never have anyone looking over my shoulder or asking why I did this or that. I make a decent living for this area of the country and have very good benefits. All in all I am a lucky girl.
My boss is also a very good friend of mine. I have known him since 1989 when I moved back home from Houston. Just about 2 years ago he called me and asked me if I wanted a job. How neat is that? In fact, oddly enough the past 3 jobs I have had I did not go looking for them, they found me. That makes me smile. Just another item to include in my gratitude.
Oh, I also can wear jeans, tee-shirts and steel toed boots. Doesn't get better than that. Sorry So, I still am not a lesbian.

Well, maybe you are just in denial!
What is it about people trying to convince you that you are a lesbian?! My aunt always tries to convince me that I'm really on her side of the fence... I just point at my kids, laugh, then point at Aaron, and say, "Baby, it doesn't get any better than him."
:D
Jen,
It is a continuing joke w/me and my brother. He is gay and I guess wanted me to be gay too, I don't know. But it's not happening! It is all in fun though.
Wear a long gown to work one day, just to mix it up. Think vintage Zsa Zsa Gabor. Make it a day they'll never forget.
I don't WANT you to be gay, you NEED to be gay. Get rid of all those straight menses!
Steel Toed Boots do not a lesbian make. I wear them every day also. Thanks for the comment. Nice to meet you. PONY POWER
Steel toed boots are HAWT - - on a lesbian, hetero, male or female. Boots with attitude rock. :)
